In this post I like to notify you about the upcoming release of the SIP call flow diagram tool which could help you to troubleshoot and analyze SIP call issues in Teams Direct Routing deployments. It will provide SIP call details for calls not older than 30 days and the ones which last(ed) longer than (updated April 7, 2025) took place approximately 30 minutes ago. So you cannot yet directly analyze each and every Direct Routing call by now on this way but approximately 30 minutes after a call was disconnected. So for immediate and live analysis you have to fallback to your Direct Routing SBC tooling, like Audiocodes Syslog Analyzer or else.
The begin of the rollout is planned for March 2025.

Conclusion, opinion and summary
It can be helpful to see and view SIP call flows (details) on the Teams Admin Center as well. Especially if you might expierence issue with a Direct Routing as a Service (DRaaS) with limited viewing options on the actual SBC/s. Furthermore, it can complement other tools but it does not replace them nor it makes them redundant. (Updated April 7, 2025) However, in my opinion the most calls which might be subject to being analyzed and troubleshooted are probably not taking 30 minutes? That’s why I would say that the added value with this limitation will be limited to very few calls. But I assume and hope that this is just a initial limitation which will vanish over time depending on usage etc.
