erik’s blog is about intelligent communication and collaboration technology and architecture. The main focus is on Microsoft Teams as platform and hub for modern teamwork to enable people and businesses to do more.
Why this blog?
Today’s world changes steadily and rapidly. erik’s blog captures and highlights some news from the communication and collaboration space. The intention of the blog is to inform and evangelize others as well as being erik’s notes collection, shared publicly.
Who writes this?
The blog is written by myself, Erik, in my leisure time. I blog and speak at (mostly local/regional) events. I like to make people aware of all the awesome tech available to be more productive and get more things done better than today.
I work as a solution architect @abtis focusing on delivering communication and collaboration services. My goal is to enable companies and their users for a modern workplace based on the Microsoft Office 365, Teams and (still) Skype for Business (Server).
From 2011 onward, till today, I’ve been working in several areas and topics in IT but found my passion in the communication and collaboration space with Microsoft Teams and related tech.
Moreover, I am a Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) Productivity, Barracuda Essentials for Office 365 Certified Product Specialist and TOGAF 9 Certified. Plus I hold many other certifications due to the fact that I’m always learning (the lastest and greatest tech stuff) and want to have my skills certified.
My daily business are projects around Microsoft Office 365, Exchange, Teams, Audiocodes, SIP Trunking, All-IP.
Typical tasks and topics are workshops, the planning of complex IT projects, developing solution architecture concepts, designing , managing projects, implementing solutions, migrating to a planned solution, troubleshooting (2nd level support) and service operation optimization.
