There is an upcoming change which will make it easier for all of us hosting, organizing and relying on Teams meeting for our daily business. The default location for storing Microsoft Teams meeting recordings will be the organizer’s OneDrive, starting from early June to late August 2024, depending on the service availability. As it is stated in Microsoft 365 Message Center ID MC772558 and Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 116251. Admins can apply the PowerShell policy ‘TeamsRecordingRollOutPolicy’ for special cases. This change should not affect users significantly, but admins may need to revise documentation.
